Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper water. Without proper training, this kind of diving puts you at risk. The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will give you the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond 18 meters, and is a prerequisite for some advanced training. You will earn the SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

The SSI Deep Diving Course consists of 1 classroom session plus 3 checkout dives.

There are two options to complete these dives. During the warm weather months, we offer certification dives at Dive Land Park in Glencoe, Alabama. This is a rock quarry located about 2 hours from Chattanooga. Certification dives at Dive Land Park are included in the total cost of certification.

We also offer trips to Florida as an alternative location for the certification dives. Florida trips are not included in the original cost of the class.
