SUMMARY:Extended Range Diving
DESCRIPTION:The SSI Extended Range training program is the core program that all other open-circuit programs build on. This program is the start of your exciting journey to become an accomplished tech diver. Using either a sidemount or twinset configuration\, this program prepares you to plan and conduct trimix decompression dives to a maximum depth of 150 feet. \nYou will learn the techniques and procedures for using Nitrox mixtures of up to 100% oxygen for decompression. You will earn the SSI Extended Range diver certification after completing this program and gain new tech diver knowledge. \nThis program provides divers with the training necessary to:\n\n\nIndependently plan and conduct decompression dives\n\n\nIn a Twinset or XR Sidemount Total Diving System\n\n\nTo a maximum depth of 150 feet\n\n\nUsing decompression gas mixtures up to 100% O2\n\n\nFor a maximum accumulated decompression time of 25 minutes\n\n\nWith an equally or more qualified buddy\n\n\nPREREQUISITES:\n\n\nMust have logged at least: 50 dives\n\n\nMust have the following SSI certifications or an equivalent from a recognized training agency:\n\n\nDeep Diving\n\n\nEnriched Air Nitrox 40%\n\n\nExtended Range Foundations\n\n\nMust provide your own total diving system in either Twinset or Sidemount configurations\, plus 1 stage cylinder\n\n\n
